98.6 is a near perfect example of the sixties bubblegum pop style that nigh on disappeared after the good music started happening. It's catchy and bouncy and cute and I hated the song for a long time for being irrelevant but now that I'm old I rather like it in a nostalgic way and will sing along and dance if it comes up while I'm washing dishes. As for being an earworm, I'll take it over Sugar, Sugar any day and twice on Sunday.

Explanation behind the spoiler tags so it doesn't blow the surprise for anyone else:

The showrunners promised to post a video with spoilers for the entire second season if their Reddit post got 1000 upvotes, which it promptly did. So they released the video as promised - and it turned out to be a massive rickroll complete with heartfelt vocals; the video of the dog is a tribute to Bento the Keyboard Cat, who died recently.
