Really good pot

I have some really good pot.

1. One flavor helps my busted knee.
2. One strain makes my headache go far, far away.
3. Several make me feel really, really good for several hours, right before bedtime and have helped wean me off of Nappien.
4. One is good for my pecs and glutes.

One day I might get to the bottom of it all but for now I'll just muddle through. Have nice thoughts for me.

i used to prefer spice gold (way better than platinum even though its meant to be the weaker of the two) but they've banned that now since they realised its way more powerful than hash, so these days is either Smoke or - a recent one I have taken a liking to - Pulse. Plus Ive rediscovered the bong - a little small one thats almost like a pipe. saves all that tobacco inhalation.

These legals I think are a good thing. I havent dealt with a burly, dodgy 'pay me or I will visit your house at 3am' type dealer for over a year and a half now.

Yeah, I preferred Spice Gold as well, but they banned it here too. Now I'm onto Dream, which I reckon is still pretty good--weaker than Spice was, but cheaper too, so I just smoke more of it. I'll give Smoke & Pulse a go if they're selling them around here.

They used to give away these nifty little cigarette-shaped pipes free with Spice, but they were shit and kept breaking. So I invested in a little gauze-free pipe with this spiral thingee in it that apparently cools down the smoke, and that's served me well over the past couple of years.

The only times I smoke real weed these days is when I'm visiting Mum.

Having a google it appears that Spice Gold is very hard to get in Australia, but a seller I found has a product called Sence in place of it. Does anyone know anything about this?

i dont really like sence - the head shop near me is great - its got a nice variety. smoke triple X is nice, and pulse is (i think) better than spice, but I found sence to be a bit ... i dunno .... headachy

I'll have to have a look around and see what I can find. There is a legal herb place in town, but their stock tends to be a bit iffy, as in their suppliers don't seem to be very reliable, so sometimes they've got a great range and sometimes they have almost nothing.

I'll try googling some of the brands you've said, though, and see what we can find.

Well no the knee only comes into effect when I'm trying to walk uphill or climb on my new stair stepper. So there's no need to get into that, besides its overdose side effects can sometimes make me too randy for my own good. Long story short a bud blend might just cause more problems than it solves.

I think it depends on the brand. I've heard that some of those legal highs are about as effective as oregano, but Spice and Dream certainly seem to do the job. Sometimes I actually prefer the legal stuff, since it gets me high but doesn't make me all dumb & sleepy like pot often does. YMMV, of course.

I, and most of the stoners i know have been smoking 'proper' stuff for nigh on 20 years so they all thought I'd lost it when I told them I was never going to touch an illegal drug again and instead smoke legally bought herbs (OK, chemically altered legally bough herbs). Mad they said. Waste of money. You may as well smoke coriander they said.

I've still havent went back to illegal drugs either, plus quite a few of my 'stoner' friends have moved to the legal stuff as well. works out just as strong (well, depending .. some is crap) and cheaper.

I don't want to turn this into a rant but I'm shocked (shocked I tells ya) that we're still talking about "legal" and "illegal" when it comes to a plant. A plant that grows in the soil and when its female wants to have sex, we keep it apart from the plantsperm so it'll grow big, succulent flowers. Flowers that when dried are suitable for smoking or vaporization. An unadulterated plant.

And when they do let the sperm get in, the plant produces seeds that are useful for many purposes, the oil of which is a tasty (and expensive) part of my custom-made Muesli.

Oh well.

As a registered medical user, I suppose I can speak from a luxurious position of not getting arrested for possession.

Also as a registered toker I can get some really good, specialized stuff. Remember the quip from American Beauty about genetically-modified government pot? Consider that my Big Green Grail and me a dogged Jack McGee.

legal hemp = cheaper products all round and Mr Industry just doesnt want that. Its much better to pretend that those that smoke grass, hash etc a stupid stoners who havent a life rather than admit such smoke is - int he grander scale of things - much less harmful and addictive than many other drugs, including alcohol.

thats another thing for the smokers out there - do you find good smoke turns you into a teetotaller? Its done that to me to a large degree.

Been sold some things that are meant to be pretty close, however. Next few nights'll be fun.

I've found that I just don't have the necessary fortitude to deal with hangovers any more. There's still the odd occasion when I will drink (sometimes to excess) but not so much on a regular basis any more.

Whereas a good smoke gets me nice and chilled and puts me in a place where I just can't wait to get to bed and snuggle down and snooze, so I'm finding myself craving that more and more.

If I'm smoking, I'm usually also drinking. I like to get all of my vices in at once. If I could combine it all with sex and food, I think I'd die happy.

Yesterday I checked my shop for Pulse or Smoke, but they didn't seem to have any (not on display anyway; maybe I'll ask next time). But the girl there suggested Space, which she said was similar in effect to Dream, but with the added advantage of being flavoured. So I picked up a pack of strawberry-flavoured stuff, and I've just smoked quite a bit. The flavour was a novelty, but to be honest I got desensitised to the flavour after a couple of tokes. I'm not finding it quite as effective as Dream, but it still does the job.

ETA: Just found out that Space is made in New Zealand and the people who make it are too paranoid to export it, so don't bother looking too hard for it unless you're in NZ.
