Masks at Midnight - Night 1
The long hours of that first day took their toll on the "guests". With no way out, they turned their attentions inward at each other. There was a lot of sniping, and two were proposed to be the cause of their suffering but the group could not come to a consensus.
Night 1 has begun. Strategy is allowed at night. There was no execution today. Night 1 will end on 16-Oct-2022 @ 7:59 pm ET. Please have any night actions sent to me, prior to that time. In addition, I have been selected for some unexpected work travel over the next few days, which has created some conflicts around the game schedule. The maximum length of day 2 will be elongated by 1 day. The Day will run from 16-Oct-2022 - 8:00 pm ET -> 20 Oct 2022 - 8:00 pm ET, as the 19th is an all day airport and flying day for me. It will be difficult for close the day / tally votes / etc on the 19th. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this causes, but I must do the needful. |

I am EPIC FAIL at this game. I somehow did not realize we were at or even near the Day deadline.

Has anyone got any suggestions on how we can actually manage to execute a suspect? Lightfoot and Raventhief got 4 votes to execute, we needed 6. With the extended deadline in D2 maybe we can get enough discussion and engagement to reach the 6 votes, but that would require almost all Town voting.
Given that the nomination locks us into a single candidate for 24 hours, do we need 3 nominees, for example, before someone is nominated? So maybe the first 24 hours we propose nominations, then whoever is online around the 24 mark makes the official nomination, then the candidate has a chance to claim or whatever, and the execution goes ahead or we pass to the second candidate? Otherwise our lack of coordination just plays into scum hands. |

I like the idea that we try and get some sort of consensus on nomination in the first 24 hours, thus maximising the time for attempting to obtain a majority of votes.
This is a new enough situation that we need good participation to try and thrash out a nomination. I'll see you all in the Morning. |
