Unvarnished Truths is a blog depicting my attempts to write about things I make, and about things that interest me. Sometimes I may try to explain why this is so, or why something was built a certain way as opposed to another, but usually I am not successful. I think about the best that readers can hope for is to be mildly entertained.
How I Spent Summer Vacation
Posted 13th September 2014 at 02:19 PM by Harry
...actually, summer vacation is over, but this project has another couple of week's work still, before it's done. This is a progress picture, mostly because I'm tired of working on it today. It's a free-standing hutch for a local restaurant. The large open top with beadboard will hold the glassware. They like to use Mason jars to serve their beverages. The bottom part will be for storage, with shelves.

There will be a maple butcher block counter in front of the glassware display.
