Christmas.
Some days go just like that, Carolia.Chores get set aside, errands get dropped or delayed...
I love her so.Posted 31st December 2010 at 12:15 AM by Salambo -
Christmas.
I wouldn't accomplish anything if I were in a house with her because I'd just stare at her all day long.Posted 29th December 2010 at 06:43 PM by Carolia -

I'm not sure you'll know when the real thing STARTS, but it will make it's self clear in relatively short order! Stay rested and don't get all excited and carried away and get too tired, cuz sure enough, labor will start immediately if you do!!!
BABBY!!!!!!Posted 29th September 2010 at 04:07 PM by Dragonlady -
31 weeks. Some things just aren't worth talking about!
Re: hiccups
My SIL who was a nurse working with pregnant mothers, would tell the pregnant mothers that if their babies hiccuped pre-birth to expect it after the baby was born. She would say BE PREPARED, because when a newborn hiccups you will think that the poor baby is going to hurt themselves, they jerk so much. Of course, it is o.k.Posted 31st August 2010 at 06:25 AM by GreyCloud9 -
Random Musings at the Beginning of the Sixth Month
Mind, I still don't WANT anyone but my husband - I just notice things I never did before. Mostly it just means I'm buying more cheesy romance books than I did before.
I perhaps make it sound crude, but in reality in translates into all kinds of romantical.Hubs thinks I'm acting more like a teenager. I want kisses all the time, I want to go to more romantic places by the water and stand on my tippytoes for kisses and be held and hold hands and blush like mad when he gives me "the look". I'm all giddy.
He sees it, and notices it is completely out of character for me. I'm usually a very dirty girl. Now I'm all giggly and coy. He's a good man; he just rolls with it and says I'm the silliest person he's ever met. And then he takes me for a sunset drive down by the water and I gaze at him with googly eyes.
I know he looks at other ladies - he's a red-blooded man - but he's faithful and kind. So am I; I just used to look mostly at other ladies, too.Posted 13th July 2010 at 04:02 PM by Salambo -
Random Musings at the Beginning of the Sixth Month
When pregnant, I can't remember wanting ANYONE but my husband. Certainly didn't have anyone but him the entire pregnancy. The whole raw egg, raw cheese, deli meat thing did irk me a bit... but making sure hit girl was healthy: worth it.Posted 9th July 2010 at 10:01 PM by GreyCloud9 -
Second Ultrasound
Natalie is the most "not used" one at the moment.
I know at least two Mollys, Chloes, and Sophies under age 2.
YAY - a wee babby!Posted 27th June 2010 at 09:00 PM by Dragonlady -

I love the name Sophie, but it could be that I'm a teensy bit prejudiced.
Yay for fingers and toes and healthiness all around!Posted 7th June 2010 at 12:53 PM by Dazzling White Diamonds -

Natalie and Molly are the two I love on your list, too. Molly can be a nickname for something else (like Margaret, maybe?) if your husband objects to Molly being a full name. I had a college roommate named Marie, but she'd been called Molly since infancy because supposedly her parents thought she resembled an Irish barmaid!Posted 4th June 2010 at 02:02 PM by mlerose -

Actually, yes, popularity of names is a little concerning to me - I don't want to send our Sophie into a classroom of a dozen or so other Sophies.
It's teetering at the bottom of that list, and I don't feel it's going to make the final cut. Sasha was tied with Sophie, but neither seem to have the power to keep on top. Hubby is leaning heavily toward Natalie right now, and I like it a lot.
My top choice is Molly, but he says it's 'cos I'm Irish and I want a pirate child. MAYBE I DO! :hijack:
I'll PM you when I have an actual address. I'll be needing the same from you when I have something for your soon-to-be - still thinking of ya, chica!Posted 4th June 2010 at 01:57 PM by Salambo -
Second Ultrasound
I'm going to ask for your address so I can make Baby Salambette a blanket. Also, I love your name choices and at least 2 of the girl names are on my long-ish short list. Don't know how you feel about name popularity, but Sophie is v. popular right now (you can check out the popularity of names at babynamewizard.com if you're into that sort of thing.)
