It's a way to alert you, by doing the @ and your name. Apparently, it pops up on the board (at the top or something?) to let you know you've been mentioned here somewhere, then links you to it. Is that right, everyone? I only looked it up once, a while back, and may be getting the particulars wrong because I always post from my phone. I'm sure others will correct me if I'm way off base.
