I think I have decided I am going to give bonus points for original songs. I'm also going to give points for the quality of the puppetry. In both cases, Moving Right Along takes it.

Inital points will be awarded purely based on how much I like the song/performance though... Ain't misbehaving wins that in a walk. But, the Muppets can't get too much credit for that. That's mostly Fats Waller being a genius. There is a reason it's a standard. That said, this would not crack my top ten favorite versions of Ain't Misbehaving so, Moving Right Along it is!

(yes, I plan to over think all of these like this. I might not think about them all out loud though.)

Your vote agrees with mine and I went through some similar thoughts on it, but I don't think it is fair to compare a Muppet Show musical number to a Muppet Movie Musical number for the Muppetry involved. The time and budget for The Muppet Movie blows away a show made on the cheap at an English studio that had to be done in a week.

I am mentally taking scale into account. But I think you have to look at the puppetry/mupperty

Static or mostly static Muppets vs lots of movement at least.

When The Muppet Movie came out, it had KERMIT RIDING A BICYCLE and it BLEW MY MIND.

(I quite like The Muppet Movie. This may come up now and then over the course of this mini-mega.)

I'm still a big fan of The Muppet Movie. I watched it again within the last year and still enjoyed almost every minute. The cameos are awesome. The fact a good chunk of the Mel Brooks regulars appeared. The weird running jokes. It was great.

@Rebo, can you break the tie and change my vote to the iconic "Movin' Right Along"? Thank you.

No tie as request to change votes changes the score in favor of Movin' Right Along.
