Never been popular. I've moved up from reviled and ridiculed to warmly tolerated as an eccentric who makes people uncomfortable at times.

That said, yes. I am wildly unpopular when I break out my disco moves at a quiet brunch on a Sunday morning, and also in the board room when I have to indicate a negative trend on the whiteboard.

But I have learned to live with it.

My boss hates me, but loves my work :-)

I can't tell if there is any intention there, so I will try to clear up the misunderstandings that might be confusing.

• The OP and title are a play on a line from an I Love Lucy episode
• AHunter3, you didn't seem to know that in your first post
• Rebo posted a link to the relevant portion of I Love Lucy but didn't say that it was explanatory - so it might have been viewed as a coincidental joke by those not in the know (and who might not have clicked that link)
• JackieLikesVariety quoted AHunter3 because AHunter3 didn't catch the play on the line (the OP switched 'pop' and 'poop') probably not realizing the reference. Further, JackieLikesVariety claimed to know the reference correctly but accidentally typed "I Love Lucky" instead of "I Love Lucy"
• JackieLikesVariety copped to her typo
• AHunter3 still didn't realize which episode and missed that the relevant episode was the one Rebo had linked to. Then at the end, AHunter3 might have understood everything (having clicked the link?) but I wasn't sure of that so I posted this monstrosity

Well, that is close. I don't know if I was addressing the readers or just AHunter3. Also, most of the other posts were themselves one-off jokes related to the thread concept, e.g. popping out of a soufflé. Unfortunately, explaining a joke doesn't make it better, so I ruined it for everyone.

No, I needed that. I didn't realize the Lucy reference was tied to "Pop out at parties", I misunderstood and thought you meant "you use language differently than I do" was something that someone had said on a Lucy episode.

Doesn't even require an admin to answer. BBCode chokes on anything before or after the random numbers and letters that designate the particular video you're linking to, and those will only start it at the beginning. One of the few good things I can say about 'Disgust' (the software that the Durp moved to) is that it just embeds whatever was in the link you posted, and doesn't try to parse it.
