Welp, Bear and Pleo was the one solid associative read I had, meow. Now that one half of that pair is flipped town, it seems like I'm gonna have to finally stop slacking and dig into the whole of D1. Not that I don't still have misgivings about Bear, but I need to review the whole board and make sure I'm not just fooling myself.

Dunno how much I'm gonna be able to squeeze in over the next two workdays, arf, but I'll give it a shot.

Other items:

• The lack of multiple NKs makes it more likely that our 3P is not a Serial Killer or something of the sort. It is possible that they have.
• Now that I know Pleo's town, I am inclined to view his proposal to get the neighborhood info out there (and his outing of my own 'hood) more positively. Then again, he died immediately after doing that, so YMMV.

1. Totally ignoring where I explain the origin of the "careful who you stab" phrase.
2. I can't reveal any info that Pleo hasn't already revealed in my own case; it's up to the rest of the players whether or not they wish to reveal their membership, and really that was more a statement that we should all be on the same page about it before attempting a mass reveal – because there are still a lot of unknowns. I fully admit it wasn't a very clear statement, though.
3. Total non-sequitur and misrep; you can see in this post I specifically advocated against assuming the tidy solution of "one scum in each hood", for valid reasons.

So, not a total strikeout, but enough suspicious misses to make me think I should just be looking for a new potential partner for you, Bear.

One of my neighbors doesn't mind a census. The other hasn't expressed an opinion. That one is probably scum. If I'm on the chopping block this Evening, I'll share what I know about my hood.

Why did you not share your name? Did you assume this would be disclosed by the mod automatically? Either that is the case, or you are not allowed to say your name. If the latter, I suggest you write something that includes a number. The number should be where you fall on the list of players in the sign-up thread. That way, we know who the mod-confirmed townie is. There are enough powers in this game, that I think scum would be crazy to target you at Night. So, let us know who you are.

No more than one per hood is different than "one per hood". If 3 scum, 1 hood could be all townies, or 2 T and a 3PK. I think they are spread uniformly.

You're absolutely right. I'm still trying to figure out which one it is. A successful eviction requires majority vote. I can't build a case against my neighbors strong enough to entice the majority of the players in this game. I can't say, "50% of my neighbors are scum because I am definitely town!" That doesn't work. You guys don't know that I am town. But I can say, "50% of Pleo's remaining neighbors are scum! Vote for one of them!" Because we know that Pleo is town. And besides, both of his neighbors are pretty scummy right now. Either of them would be a good vote, I think.

Doesn't matter, because it has been answered. I was trying to figure out what mechanic the neighborhoods added to the game. I didn't think it affected powers in anyway, because it doesn't affect mine. So, I figured it must have some effect on the NK. BUT, Pleo and Dizzy have stated their powers are affected by neighborhoods. So, there's that. I no longer think NKs are restricted by neighborhoods. I still think there is an even distribution of scum among neighborhoods, though. That means when a townie dies, the two remaining residents offer a 50% chance of successful vote rather than the game-wide 25-33%.

If I die toDay, then absolutely go after one of my neighbors.
