Most of the modern pop culture references escape me. Effie? Who in hell is Effie? for just one example. Someone once drew me "Lisa", and it should have been obvious, but I had no clue. I might have gotten Bart, but since I've never watched the show, I don't know the names connected to the faces. My drawing seems to be getting worse over time. It is a ton of fun. I like how we're getting creative within it and sending one another messages. Bet the creators didn't think of that. Ha!

I deleted Giraffe because it's been a week now and no reply. Also, I don't have the color green, so that might be hard for me to draw (greenday).
I have never seen Hunger Games and have no desire to do so, that's that for me. Also, someone drew me a pig today without legs--I got it--finally, but if they are quadrupeds, could we please draw them that way? Thanks. I also screwed up one from HFK, but now I don't feel bad because it was from Mrs HKF and I don't even KNOW her! Ha!

You have blue and yellow, though, which is how I got "green" across to someone without having the actual color.

I sometimes use words, but only as a supplement to what I'm drawing, not the actual drawing. Also, I wrote a message to a friend once that had nothing to do with the drawing. It made her smile, though, so bonus points for me!

I have to apologize to folks. Apparently, my phone and/or the app has been having issues, as several of my drawings have been sent only half-drawn. One was sent to Rebo... my phone rebooted in the middle of drawing hers. I know one other was sent to homer - I had drawn a full picture and sent it, but he only got part of the drawing. The app stopped partway through. Sad, really, as we had one hell of a streak going on.
I haven't checked the other games yet, so I don't know if other folks have received half-assed drawings from me or not. If you have, I'm very sorry. I now return you to your regularly scheduled drawing.

Also, I cannot find a way to get more colors. Daughter tells me they cost 249 coins, but I can't find an access point to them. Any clues?

When you're drawing, look up at your colours. There should be a button that says "more colours" that will bring you to a list of palettes you can buy.

On the page where you see all your active games, scroll all the way to the bottom and select 'shop'. You can buy bombs there. I don't have a current game, so I'm going by memory, but I think while you have one open you drag the color banner to the left and it says something about buying more colors there.

I got an email a ways back that mentioned they were going to add a chat feature in an upcoming update. Looking fwd to that. They're also ramping up the number of turns. Currently it only goes up to 99, then just stays there.
I'm amused at certain umbrage on what's considered the right way to play and rule breaking. While I also don't enjoy seeing only the words written, I've yet to see any actual rules anywhere. My personal style is to sometimes include words, but not the one being guessed, such as adding DOUCHE to the frat picture. It's not generally needed, but it makes me giggle.

I should let my ten year old daughter take over my games. She's a better artist than I. Of course, there are preschoolers who are better than I am, but people seem to get my words, even if my drawings are hideous. Except for my hangman drawing, because I do AWESOME stick figures.

Daughter and I had a great streak going, but we had to start over. We were up to 76! I now have more colors. I wish I had more words and no ads, but I'm not going to pay for it. You'd think I'd get better at drawing the same things, but alas...

I love this game. I keep starting games with more and more people.
I can't draw for shit folks, and my guesses aren't the best either, but I still love this game. Rebo is kicking butt here. I think we're on 17 or 18. Rigs too. We're on 11 moves. I keep losing at guessing Uthy's perfectly good drawings[/sarcasm] Border??? lol I screwed up with severe delays. I think she quit me. How did I NOT get Madonna. Buff and I are doing well too (11). She thinks that dinner is more important than the game though. Hmmph.
