Actually my uniform *is* blue. And I could wear a coat with shiny buttons if I so chose but then I'd look like a dork in front of all the other traindrivers so I don't. I don't wear my regulation issue hat either (actually a manager has twice deemed my various hats to be regulation issue despite the assorted earflaps/tassels/pompoms/astonishing colours so I suppose technically I do wear regulation hats).
