![]() (And yes, before anyone asks, that does technically qualify as dwarfism. It's physiological, though. I'm perfectly proportioned. Except for my boobs. They're kind of out of proportion on a body that otherwise looks like it belongs to a 10 year old.) |

Did you experience any late growing? I was just 6'4" when I was 18 and I've grown 2.5 inches since. I'm always weirded out when I'm around people who are taller than me. There's usually a moment or two where we size each other up, and then someone asks how tall the other is. |

I can't even claim that. I never did have a growth spurt, just a very slow steady growth until I stopped around age 11 or 12. My parents are both average size for their gender, so the doctors all thought for sure that there was something VERY wrong with me, but they were wrong. Ok, well, there IS something very wrong with me, but it has nothing to do with my size.

I've tried on women's pants labelled Average for length and they'd just about make capri pants for me! Women's clothes sizes are fucked up. It doesn't help that I'm not overly tall but require a 34" inseam because most of my height is leg.

I don't own a pair of pants that hasn't had to be hemmed. I wear scrubs at work, and even though I order the extra small, I still had to take them up by more than 6 inches. And don't even get me started on shoes. (Size 2 in little girls.) ugh.

5' 10½" I've shrunk about a half inch though. And, like Smartie, most of it is in my legs. I look almost normal sitting down. It makes buying clothes a pure bitch though. It's really hard to get the length on slacks without them being way too big everywhere else. And shirts...sigh. It's rare to find a shirt that the cuffs actually cover my wrists. If the sleeves are long enough the rest looks like I'm wearing a sack.
Good thing I love classic clothes because Land's End custom hems! You haven't experienced giddy luxury until you get good wool slacks that actually cover your ankles. Pure genetics though; my cousin's daughter is 6'1" at 15. My grandfather and uncle were both 6' 6". Family get-togethers do resemble a herd of giraffes amiably wandering around. |

174cm, or so it was reported on my last physical. I usually have trouble finding clothing in the US because no clothing retailer can imagine anybody with a 27 or 28" waist would ever possibly have an inseam longer than 29". For the record, I'm more like a 32" inseam.
Thankfully, the clothing over here fits me beautifully. |

6' 2" here. I find it somewhat amusing when I find someone claiming 6-3 or 6-4, where I'm obviously taller than they are. My brothers are 6' 1" and 6' 4".

I'm 5' 3 1/4". My problem is that I have a normal torso and short legs. Regular pants are too long, but petite pants shorten the crotch as well as the legs, so they give me a wedgie. This is why I love capris.

6'3" or 191 cm
I used to be really tall, certainly one of only 3 kids who were 190 cm + in my 1.500 student high school. 30 years later I'm not shrinking (though bulging somewhat at the middle), but there are tons of kids at the high school I work that are around 190. Quite a lot of girls who are 5'10 to sex feet even. Statistics bear with me, Swedish people are getting taller. |

If I ever have to represent GB somewhere (probably court), I'm bringing you all with me as my posse. I think that would project the right image.
