So I'm going to try voting from the future to see if it causes any change. I will not be keeping this vote, it's just a test.

I know that you can't have more than two votes stacked up at one time, but maybe my power is, that I can? If anyone else has any bright ideas, feel free to suggest them.

Unvote Lucifer
Vote Romanic from toDay
Vote Romanic from Day 2
Vote Romanic from Day 3
Vote Romanic from Day 4

Again, these are going to be votes I'm going to hold. : p I'll unvote as soon as HB posts the next vote count.

I just wanted to state my agreement with this point that Bill had made previously.

If Red dies and is revealed to be a Town Miller/Mason, then Idle is a confirmed Town player.

There are 2 ways to solve this problem.

1. I could just remember that Romanic is the claimed mason and not red
2. Romanic could change his name to Red

crazy scum play working a false claim with two scums Day 1.

However to say one is confirmed no matter what the other might flip - I am not ready to go there.
Also I'm not ready to lynch either - because at this point I fail to see what it will tell us about the other.

Especially because Rule #12 did state that a Mason is a Town player - yet the only PM with the word "mason" is the player with an alignment we don't seem able to confirm...
If I flip Town, you can be 100% sure that Idle is Town, it's in my role PM. I don't see how you can doubt this, as I would have no reason to lie.

However I can see how Idle dying, and flipping Town, wouldn't confirm anything about me.

I know that - what I wanted to get out was my uncertainty that someone wanted to lynch either to "confirm" the other.

I didn't say I wanted any of you lynched - just wanted to point out that a lynch of any of you (at this point in the game) would tell us almost nothing.

Great googly-moogly. I got really confused for a moment there. I was catching up on the thread and got to the end of page 4. Then my wife called me and when I hung up, I turned back to the game and posted that I wanted to re-read on Red Skeezix and Moody Mitchy. When I refreshed the page, I couldn't find my comment. I hit the "Last Page" link, thinking I was going to page 5. I was astounded to see that I had missed all of page 5 and several posts on page 6. Then Ed starts confusing Red with Romanic. I'm already confoozled, Ed ... I don't need your help!
[/oog]

I did not like the early voting on Idle because I thought the case against him was fairly weak. His claim (along with Romanic's) are intriguing.

But first, Red Skeezix.

Some of your behavior seems to be quite odd, as has been pointed out by others. The admission that you didn't look carefully at the vote tally early on does not play well for you. However, your saving grace is that you and I are on the same side of the whole Idle question, and that diminishes the loudness of your pings.

On to Moody Mitchy.

Now, Moody, I have to say that I started off immediately biased against you, but I had to examine my motives and I came to the conclusion that my suspicions were a carry-over from the Dr. Seuss game. I immediately squelched those thoughts, because that's unfair to you. I think it was SisCoyote that said something about not carrying grudges.

I am put off a bit by the backpedaling on whether your vote was serious, just a joke, or then it was a 60/40 joke (and actually, I don't know what that means ... are you 60% joking or 40% joking?).

It really looks like you were trying to stir the pot and the grease flared up and singed your arm and now you are downplaying the whole thing.

Very fishy.

One thing I have found is that I get a weird feeling when two people who are both pinging me rather loudly are involved in a public fracas. I find myself wondering if I am being manipulated and being forced to watch something that I normally wouldn't be watching. It almost feels like there is a deliberate misdirection going on. Thus, the back-and-forth between Red and Moody seems almost a little theatrical. I was not surprised when you removed your vote from Red.

Anyway, of the two of you, Moody Mitchy pings me most at the moment.

Thanks. I don't really look at it as my birthday anymore. Not since 19 years ago when my son was born on the same day. It's really his birthday.

I also hope things are going well for you and your family.

vote X on day 2
So you suggest Vanilla's should bank their votes (then do so - soft claiming vanilla? ) but that "pro-town" is to vote normally, or pull a vote from the future. Surely vanilla is pro-town - your statement is paradoxical. You have subsequently claimed miller-mason.
You're right, vanilla is pro-town. Pro-Town in this sentence would mean "pro-town power roles".

No - I am accusing Red of avoidance, and yes, scum would do it.

This should read:

"Do I think scums will try to skip question, to reduce their chances of being caught? Yes! Avoidance is a scumtell. I bet you agree with this one."

Scums are not immune to scum tells just because they are known. I've seen avoidance enough in my games, and I've seen wishy washyness, 3rd bandwagoning, IIOA and other scum tells. Just because it's "known" doesn't make it unlikely that a scum player would do it. It doesn't make it a non-tell.

Snipped quote from BobArrghs post where he votes for me... Bolding mine as I'm confused a bit here... you say my vote. Does this comment mean my vote on Idle Thoughts? Because if that's the case you'd be the THIRD person I'd have to explain to that I HAVEN'T voted for him at any point in this game.

Right with that out of the way ....

UNVOTE TOTAL ULLA

VOTE RED SKEEZIX

Yes that's a totally save ass vote from me as I feel he's the most likely to be lynched instead of me... I still feel that Total Ulla could be SCUM but I want to save my own neck so need to vote a likely cometitor...

With I believe just short of 7 hours left toDay (sorry if I've not got the transatlantic times right) I feel it only prudent that I should claim and leave it there for you to decide what to do with it... I'm just going to copy and past my role PM and then it'll be up to you to choose what you wish to do...

I AM telling the truth... I AM TOWN but if you feel that I'm worth losing then go ahead and let me swing

*sigh* for toDay.

I am still suspicious of Mitchy but giving him a pass for toDay purely because of the claim. I'm voting Romanic, not because I am strongly suspicious of him, but because a Romanic lynch will confirm Idle. i can't think of anythng more rational to do at this time.

Do you think so? It seems rational to me. If we lynch Romanic, we have either a dead scum or a dead Town plus a confirmed live Town. I don't want to lynch a possible Town Doctor and it's late to scour all the posts to see if i can see if anyone is looking scummier than Mitchy. I contemplated moving ToDay's vote on Mitchy to toMorrow, but that makes an Idle lynch more likely, which will achieve nothing if he flips Town.

Going to a concert tonight, don't have much time to argue with people, so here's my pm. Slightly redacted due to a power restriction that I don't care to share with anyone.

You are Trace (Town Tracker)

You are Trace, one of the Time Trailer Twins (that’s what you wish they would call you). You can track [redacted]. The tracking is still totally viable, though.

--Power—
You can investigate someone and see where they went [redacted].

All of these claims are quite believable from a wiki I found

http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/The_Felt

However, it seems quite likely that there would be cover roles.

OK, I agree that what you say is true.

2 points, however

1. Unless we think Romanic is Scum, it's still best to let him live. He might die by other means anyway.
2. it was interesting that your original post seemed to assume Romanic was Town, yet you quickly corrected yourself.

Oh, and Clubs Deuce is a member of the Midnight Crew (Scum)

The others are all Felts (Town)

Of course, that would make sense with a Miller role, eh?

In all honesty, I do think Romanic is more likely to be Town than not, the assumption that you see in that post is a real one. The only player I can see as scummy so far is Mitchy, but I can't leave a vote on a claimed Town Doctor without further evidence. Lynching Idle makes no sense whatsoever and I am still seeing a whole bag full of nothing with the case against Red. This is the first time I've ever voted a player that I thought was probably Town, but it seems the only choice that has any guaranteed benefit to Town, no matter which way he flips.

Plus I've re-read Red Skeezix's posts just to see if I was missing anything - and there is absolutely no case to make against him.. I'm seeing him as Towniest Townie in Town right now.

Fine, but what's to gain by keeping your vote where it is? if you disbelieve Idle, you must disbelieve Romanic too. So why keep the vote on Idle rather than Romanic? If you're wrong, a Dead Town Idle yields no information about Romanic, but a dead Town Romanic confirms Idle as Town. Keeping the vote on Idle rather than Romanic makes no sense.

This seems to be quite true.

That's an interesting site you found, Ed. It doesn't seem to give me any more ideas at what my secret power might be or what my actual role is, though. It says Clover is possibly capable of flight, making him hard to kill, but I don't see how I can actually activate that.

On Mitchy's observation, I asked HB about my power and for more clarification.

Apparently I have just one power, it's secret (obviously), it's not a Night action, it's activated in some way either by myself or others, I'll know it when/if it happens, and my mystery Town role and power won't be revealed upon death, only at the end of the game.

Anyway, I see Lucifer is still acting scummy as all get out. Either that or he's got a huge case of denial. Even if you didn't believe the Mystery/Mason/Miller role thing, as others have pointed out, your vote would probably be better placed on Romanic, if you really want to call bullshit, because his death has the most potential to confirm me.

That being said, I'm more and more of the belief that Romanic is telling the truth,..for one, he knew about the walkie-talkies mentioned in my role PM, secondly, HB calls him, in my role PM, my "secret friend". Unless he (HB) is using a definition of "friend" I don't know about, I'm taking it to mean what it usually means (barring HB running some kind of bastard mod game)....and finally....I again look at HB's rule 12 that describes what a mason is: 1. Someone who knows that someone else is Town. 2. Someone who can communicate with that same Townsperson. Both of those things apply to Romanic, along with it being very clear that masons/a mason is Town.

I think/fear that scum will try to kill me off asap, and leave Romanic all alone in the game for people to WiFoM over. So just wanted to get that out there. For the record, I believe him.

I looked at the wiki Ed posted and I can't help but wonder what the this, ugh world is.

Anyway, apparently Club Deuces is member of the Midnight Crew, so I got a fucked up role, cooked to look suspicious. And I thought that being a mason was actually a good thing. Awesome.

Don't expect me to defend beyond that, I cannot argue against this, nor against arguments about me being a good lynch. From anyone else's perspective, I guess that I am a good option, but I know my role, so I can't agree with my lynch.

It seems odd that HB would reveal me as Clubs Deuce in Idle's role PM, if he's an obvious member of the Midnight Crew. That would mean the host is giving away a scum before the game started, so it looks like a cooked role. I hope that I would think so, if I was on the other side.

Anyway, whatever, I can't argue with this. Lynch me if you want... Then watch who was willing to lynch me, cause someone around here knows that I am not Scum.

As for Red's claim, I don't care about it. I'm gonna stick with thread behavior.

He's dodging again by

1) Not giving a full role when he's ahead of the tally.
2) Saying that he won't be around to discuss this anymore.

I don't care about this claim. Lynch me for it, I don't care. I'm a cooked Day 1 lynch anyway.

You're either Scum or totally unhelpful. If you don't believe Idle, vote me, not him.

What kind of logic is this?

Are you still stuck with your "I am so good, I can find all the scummerz on day 1" line of thought?

Sorry but if you strongly believe Idle and I are both Scum, lynching me first is still a better option, as it provides a failsafe if you are wrong.

The Mod (whatever his name is here right now) was very clear that you had no information about Romanic's alignment. Romanic's claim of mason/miller makes that all the more suspicious in my mind.

He may very well have the ability to send someone messages.

Club Deuces would seem to be the ideal role for a mad bomber though, no?
