Luci, will you just re-read the posts and think again about where your votes are? If you disbelieve Idle, you disbelieve Romanic by default. Romanic can't be telling the truth if Idle is lying. The reverse is not true. The only way to confirm Romanic's alignment is by him getting dead, and if he flips Town, his death will confirm Idle as Town. Idle's death, if he is Town, will confirm nothing. If you disbelieve their claims, the only rational vote is for Romanic, NOT Idle.

If they are both scum, which I believe to be the case, and they are going to these lengths to keep Idle alive toDay, they must have a good reason - like Idle has some super-duper time-traveling-scum mindfuck to lay down on us or something. All the more reason to vote Idle.

Plus, I'm impervious to logic. Ask anybody around here that knows me

Ed, true. I'm just guessing.

Can we all, at least, agree that Lucifer is the scummiest ever, right now?

Are you not even going to reply to factual logic that's been said, Lucifer? Killing me won't show anything about Romanic....Killing Romanic, if either of us, would CONFIRM me if he's Town.
What don't you understand about this?

Not sure if you are being scummy or stupid, Luci, but your votes are anti Town. Going to bed and will still be there when Day ends, so the vote won't be coming off. Night all.

4 hours and 15 minutes to the end of Day 1

moody mitchy (3): Giraffe [Day 1 Post 131], BobArrgh [Day 1 Post 266], Red Skeezix [Day 1 Post 282]
Red Skeezix (3): Romanic [Day 1 Post 146], Total Ulla [Day 1 Post 215], moody mitchy [Day 1 Post 271]
Idle Thoughts (3): Zuma [Day 1 Post 76], Lucifer [Day 1 Post 83], Lucifer [Day 6 Post ???]
Lucifer (2): Idle Thoughts [Day 1 Post 250], Romola [Day 1 Post 307]
Romanic (1): Special Ed [Day 7 Post ???]
Special Ed (1): Zeener Diode [Day 1 Post 163]
Zeener Diode (1): peekercpa [Day 1 Post 221]

Not Voting: Sister Coyote, BillMC

Voting in the Past: N/A

With these votes moody mitchy will be lynched.

(Since votes from the future have no specified post number, they can never break ties in their favor)

Plus my character is LISTED as Town on the site Ed found, while Romanic's is listed as SCUM.

So again, what's the reason you wouldn't go after him first?

At this point, it doesn't really matter if you're scum OR Town, you're playing blatantly anti-Town.

PS, if you're Town, romanic, it might make sense for you to vote to get yourself lynched if Idle is on the line.

Also, I don't see Lucifer being Scum here. An obviously faulty logic like this is more likely coming from a Town than a Scum (who usually are more prudent/ aware of the dangers).

If I'm forced to switch my vote to Lucifer, to save Idle or myself, I might do it, but I'd rather lynch Red.

I'm torn at this point.
I'm included to believe Mitchy's doc claim
The partial claim from Red really sux.
Lucifer's play is so flawed and anti-town.

If Romanic is truthful, then lynching him confirms Idle.
If Idle is scum, then lynching Romanic would expose his false claim, and he would be lynched.
If Romanic flips town, then Idle is town.
If both are scum, then its a pretty bold play for Romanic to out himself when he was in no danger of being lynched. Lynching a scummy Romanic would put a nail in Idle's coffin, and likewise a scummy Idle would put a nail in Romanic's. As a claimed Miller, he needs to be lynched at somepoint - so if they are both scum - this is the boldest play in a long time.

And Red chooses to revote a claimed Doc, rather than share his full claim.

I agree with most all you said, BillMc, save for the "If Romanic is scum, that must mean Idle is scum too" logic. Call me biased but my own PM even says "You don't know what Romanic is". Just so you don't think I'm putting complete faith and trust in him.

I have no problem with the partial claim.

The vote for a claimed Doc does give me pause.
I'd still rather have Romanic lynched.

But I will remove my vote if no one agrees with me.

Why would anyone want to vote in the past? Isn't that like saying, on Day Two "vote for player x on Day One..."? What good would that do?

well moody has claimed doc. he was getting some lynch traction and i don't think it wise to lynch a claimed town doc nor do some other folks.

red has claimed tracker with his power "redacted" which i personally think begs for some more information while others feel it begs a lynch vote. shoot bill thinks it so poor that he is giving red two votes.

romola is voting for someone she admittedly thinks is not scum.

romanic is willing to vote himself to help idle. others feel he needs to swing just because that's what needs to happen to millers (which is a bunch of hooey).

idle is claiming mason/not mason. the last time he pulled this stunt was when he and mhaye pulled of a fake mason claim while i was scum with them.

luci has already fingered three scum. one of which he is so convinced of that he's being just obtuse about his vote(s).

haven't really heard from ulla, g, zuma or bob since this kind of flared up. but it wouldn't surprise me if something odd popped out from one of that crowd.

you, ed, are being your normal prickly self so at least that is comforting.

at least zeener has been consistent in being inconsistent.

I'm not claiming Mason.
I've already said, my role PM doesn't say anything about being a Mason, so I don't really know how I could be claiming Mason. Now "Not Mason" is correct...although, to be fair "Town ???" could be anything.

No splitting hairs involved.. In Sekham I claimed Mason when I wasn't. I'm not claiming anything in this game.
Oh, and it wasn't MHaye doing it with me in that game, it was Zuma. I also don't remember you in that game. Did you go under a different name?

Jesus Christ, I'm glad I popped in to see if anything had happened since I read the thread last.

Just to make sure I didn't miss anything, we've got moody mitchy claiming Town Doctor, Romanic claiming some kind of mason that can talk to a vanilla Town player over PM but who will come up scum if investigated (), and Idle claiming vanilla Town but confirming he received the PMs from Romanic. Oh, and Red Skeezix claiming Town tracker, but leaving a vote on the claimed Town Doctor?

First and foremost, while I'm pretty dubious of his claim, I'm not voting a claimed Town Doctor on Day one:

As for who to vote for, I'm finding Lucifer's certainty about his Day one scum picks to be bizarre and intensely scummy. But it's awfully ballsy, with no obvious advantage for scum, so maybe it's just Lucifer being Lucifer. (He and Ed are always the hardest ones for me to figure out.) Romanic seems like a decent lynch, since I wouldn't be surprised if there was some crazy scum power that let you send PMs to Town players.

So yeah, I think I'm going with Romanic. I think Town gains the most from lynching him at this moment.

Sorry, you're right. I was reading through quickly and missed that you seem to have some sort of unknown ability. You're not a mason, though, which makes Romanic's claim less falsifiable, i.e. if scum has some way of sending messages to Town.

looking at the wiki, it seems obvious that Red is probably able to track things that happen in the past. For example, on Night 2, he could track someone on Night 1.

Very useful power, if you ask me.

Crap. Just getting back home to check on status of game, and it's almost up.

Brilliant.

Is that just in case there's a late rush and I get lynched toDay?

Or has no one else noticed that this voting system just begs us to build consensus?
