The Fairy Tale is Over

Two years ago, Big Daddy and I approached a couple we knew about becoming a polyamourus quad. The quad became a triad as Big Daddy and Rain broke up nine months later. Big Daddy pursued his own girlfriends, and is still dating one of them. Somewhere Rain and I really stopped being girlfriends and it became a W. Rock and I broke up earlier this week.
I really wanted it to work, but there were issues on all sides about the differences in thought about relationships, and primaries, and what should be allowed. We worked at it, till honestly it was beat to death.
I still love Rock and Rain, and wish to have a friendship with them.
Big Daddy still has the Klingon, and the guy I used to call the Sloth is back... a little wiser, a lot more affectionate twords me. Decided that he is no longer Snook the Sloth, but Ferdinand the Bull in my narratives.

GreyCloud, that's a shame. It always is when relationships don't turn out the way we had hoped. Blah - blah - lessons learned and all that. Take some time to be gentle with yourself.

*hugs* to Dragonlady I know the above come out very monatone, I just don't know what to say other than that. I mourn what is lost, but feel that this is for the best. What hurts me the most is that Rock is hurting, and I can't be there for him like I used to be.
Everyone has been supportive, Big Daddy, the Klingon, and the Bull. The Bull is way more complex, thoughtfull, and more intelligent than I ever thought. He is a s-type like me, and while it is alien to me, being made my favorite koolaid and having it brought to me at dinner... stuff like that.. really makes me feel special.Posted 2nd August 2011 at 10:48 AM by GreyCloud9
