Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) asks Attorney General Bill Barr about federal officers descending on protesters near the White House ahead of a photo-op for President Donald Trump.
Then she pointed out that Barr was only using the feds against BLM protestors, but not the armed white supremacists who were in Michigan with swastikas, dolls with nooses on their necks and calling for the beheading of their governor.

She totally owned Barr in the hearing today, making him look like a partisan ass.

Have I mentioned my MAGA hat wearing cousin in law? Yes? Because that drives me crazy in the WTF can't you think way.

So many crimes to lay at that bastard's feet, from negligent homicide to obstruction of justice, and so many other bad acts. Someone said he would get COVID. Not good enough. Can we have the whole Administration in the hospital at the same time please?

God knows how it happened, but Trump actually flashed his soul for a few moments today. He simply cannot understand why so many people hold Anthony Fauci in high regard, "But nobody likes me." There it is; the story of his life in four words.

He broke down and finally wore a mask in public. A few more times and maybe the mask resistance will largely peter out?

Do not ever again put the words "Trump" and "peter out" anywhere near each other again. Or I'll think of something to do to you in cyberspace.

Yeah Donnie Boy, nobody likes you for "your personality". Problem is, your personality consists of lying until you're orange in the face, and then lying some more, while people are out here literally fucking dying.

It doesn't look like it. His conversion to the Gospel According to Facemasks has foundered in the wake of his notorious inability to latch onto an idea for long. He spent the early hours of Tuesday tweeting (and occasionally untweeting) all sorts of crap, including a claim by a "doctor" that masks are utterly useless.

Speaking of Trump and masks, it's time for me to put on the old and share some speculation I've engaged in recently:

Remember his recent trip to Walter Reed? Of course you do. The ostensible purpose was to visit wounded soldiers. But I have yet to see a single photo of Trump with a patient; just the notorious one of him in a mask. Has anyone seen a photo of the president with the troops? It has me thinking that that was a cover story; that he actually went to the hospital for some sort of testing but wants to keep it secret. Maybe he finally "finished" his annual physical. Maybe his doctors are worried about something and ordered tests that could not be done at the White House. (It is interesting to note that it was just a few days after the Walter Reed excursion that he started to brag about his cognitive test result. When did that happen? And why?)

Also, his mood and affect seem to have been all over the place lately. Is someone diddling with his meds? Has the stress finally gotten to him? Is he having his nineteenth nervous breakdown?

(That's a reference to an old song, ya danged Millies. Get offa my hifi.)

His list of daily pills would be an eye opener. Dude's been tweaking his brains out since the '90's and boy does it show. No doubt he's snorting white dust off tile in the bathroom by now.

That asshole got his start by conning his senile old dad. Considering the vermin that have hatched since then, guess who's going to get his own brand of mercy back someday soon.

Steven Calabresi, co-founder of the powerful conservative legal organization, is now calling on the House of Representatives to do again what it has already done once this year: impeach Trump.
from: https://www.npr.org/2020/07/31/89772...-re-impeachmen

Calabresi was an ally and defender of Trump. so even though you probably never heard of him, this is a very good sign.

It is time for Trump to resign.

We've officially gone through the looking glass.

July 30, 2020, Trump wants to delay the US general election.

July 31, 2020, the Trump administration condemns Hong Kong's postoponement of their election via its latest demonic mouthpiece, Kkk McNinny.

I forget where I saw this, but I like it:

He changed his mind again. The president also reversed himself and said he wished the Nov. 3 election would be moved up.

You know, we could just about pay off the national debt by auctioning off the chance to drag his loathsome ass down the white house steps in a strait jacket.

And trust me, when this is all just a painful memory I won't forget who stood with that stinking sack of dog shit. Any chance to serve them what they tried to serve me will be taken.

No, it really isn't. If Congress were to, y'know, DO ITS JOB they could halt most of his bullshit right in its tracks. They don't, though, because Trump does things that make corporate rich fucks get chubby in their pants and most Congresscritters are also either corporate rich fucks or corporate rich fuck remoras themselves and so they aren't going to do a damned thing that might cause Mr Stable Genius to turn off the soft serve machine of cash they're so enjoying at the moment. And yes, I mean ALL of Congress--just look at who votes for what before trying to tell me this is a GOP thing. I'm neither stupid nor unobservant and can tell a hawk from a handsaw regardless of the wind's quarter.

With all of the hootin' and hollerin' going on this week, who noticed that Trump awarded a $765 million "loan" to Kodak to produce chemicals for generic drugs?

Kodak?? Dafuk do they know about meds?

No word yet if SDNY has started an insider trading investigation.

I understand they'll be producing the raw ingredients. They have idle chemical plants and the knowledge of mass producing chemicals.

We'll just have to see what develops.

True fact. I worked for a company that did a lot of work for one of the Kodiak heirs who lived in a wealthy area of So California. She was a nice, albeit eccentric lady. So many stories that would make you wonder WTF. An example.

For her daughters 16th birthday, she bought her a new Hummer (back when those beasts were available) She also bought a new hummer for the each of the 6 girls who were invited to her daughter's party. Of course, the parents of the girls took the Hummers and sold them. When the mom found about it, she forbid her daughter from ever talking to those ungrateful friends again.

I have so many more stories, but another day, another time.

If you're not careful it could turn into a box camera session.

You should shutter this discussion before you get any further out of your depth of field. Seriously, just f-stop it.

Among other thinks, Kodak is a chemical company, and drugs are chemicals. Many generic drugs' constituent chemicals are made by generic chemical companies and then combined into pills and such by specialized pharmaceutical companies. Kodak doing it too is not really as odd as it sounds.

With that said, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that this is some sort of corrupt sweetheart deal...
