"Silly Love Songs" by Wings (#1 song of 1976) vs. "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" by KC and the Sunshine Band (#26 song of 1976)
To reduce the chances that two strong songs would meet in Round 2, criteria were used to assign songs to the top or bottom half of the remaining field. "Silly Love Songs" was considered to be a relatively strong contender for being Billboard's #1 Hot Single of 1976 and for earning 95.65% of the votes cast in its Round 1 poll.
